These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of SmartMoneyTools.org (the "Site"), operated by SmartMoneyTools ("we", "our", "us"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

SmartMoneyTools provides free financial calculators, articles and educational content focused on Indian personal finance. The Site does not provide investment, tax, legal, accounting or any other professional advice. SmartMoneyTools is not a SEBI registered investment advisor, a chartered accountant firm, or a tax practitioner.

All calculator outputs are estimates based on the inputs and assumptions you provide. Markets, tax laws, interest rates and inflation change frequently. 3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or to violate any applicable law or regulation.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, its servers, or any related systems or networks.
• Use any automated means (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access the Site at a rate or volume that imposes an unreasonable load on our infrastructure.
• Reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, or republish substantial portions of the Site without our prior written permission.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Site or other users' enjoyment of it.
• Upload or transmit any malicious code, viruses or harmful material.

4. Intellectual property

All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, icons, calculator formulas (as implemented), code, layout, design and the "SmartMoneyTools" brand — is owned by or licensed to SmartMoneyTools and is protected by Indian and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may view, share short excerpts of, and print pages for your personal, non-commercial use. Any other use — including reposting full articles, embedding our calculators on other sites, or commercial reuse — requires our prior written consent and clear attribution to SmartMoneyTools with a link back to the original page.

5. Third-party links and advertisements

The Site may contain links to third-party websites and may display advertisements served by third parties (including Google AdSense). These links and ads are provided for convenience. We do not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for any third-party content, products, services or policies. Your interactions with any third party are solely between you and that party.

We work hard to keep calculators accurate and content up to date, including for the latest Indian tax slabs and scheme rates. However, the Site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. 7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SmartMoneyTools, its founder, contributors and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages — including loss of profits, investments, savings, data, or goodwill — arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Site, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site will not exceed ₹1,000.

8. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SmartMoneyTools from any claim, demand, loss or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Site.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with the Site or these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
